SearchSync is designed with privacy as a core principle. We believe your data should remain yours, and we've built our application to ensure complete privacy and security.

Data Collection

We collect NO personal data. SearchSync operates entirely on your local machine and does not transmit any information to external servers. Your search queries, credentials, and usage patterns remain completely private.

Local Storage

All application data, including API credentials and preferences, are stored locally on your device using:

• Platform-specific secure storage (Windows Credential Manager, Linux Keyring)
• Encrypted configuration files stored locally
• Temporary search result caching for performance

Third-Party Services

SearchSync connects directly to your configured services (Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Asana) using your provided credentials. These connections are made directly from your machine to the respective services' APIs. We do not act as an intermediary.

Analytics and Tracking

SearchSync does not include any analytics, tracking, or telemetry. We do not collect usage statistics, crash reports, or any other information about how you use the application.

Updates

Application updates are delivered through standard distribution channels (GitHub releases, package managers). The update process does not involve sending any personal information.
