Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using SearchSync, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the application.

License

SearchSync is provided as free and open-source software. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software for personal and commercial purposes in accordance with the applicable open-source license.

User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your API credentials and access tokens
• Ensuring you have proper authorization to access the services you configure
• Complying with the terms of service of third-party services (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.)
• Using the software in a manner that does not violate any applicable laws

Third-Party Services

SearchSync integrates with third-party services through their APIs. We are not responsible for:

• The availability, functionality, or policies of these services
• Any data loss or security issues arising from your use of these services
• Changes to third-party APIs that may affect SearchSync functionality

Disclaimer of Warranties

SearchSync is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall the SearchSync developers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, regardless of the theory of liability.

Open Source

SearchSync is open-source software. The source code is available for inspection, modification, and distribution under the terms of the applicable open-source license. Contributions are welcome and encouraged.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of SearchSync after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
